Hi! My name is Lulu Damiat, and I'm the CEO and the Creative Director of Elalu. Since I was a little girl, I had a big dream of having a little clothing boutique of my own, just like my mother's. My dream and destiny somehow met along the way. I have been working in the fashion industry for the past 16 years. Being a 33 year-old, simply means that I have spent over half of my life doing what I love to do. I started working in retail when I was 18 years old as a fitting room attendant for a very desirable brand at the local mall. It wasn't the most glamourous job, but I loved it. What I love the most about it was that I got to spend my time talking to women and dressed them up. It gave me a satisfaction knowing they left the store pleased and happy with their new outfits.
Fast forward seven years later and I became a District Director for one of the most awesome denim companies. Several years later, I worked for the world's most famous lingerie brands and was part of the expansion in South East Asia. Most recently I worked as a VP for one of the most "up and coming" international designers in the fashion industry.
My love for fashion has taken me so far in my career, which I believe has prepared me and guided me. I know this is what I'm destined to do.

Hello! My name is Stella Sudjasmin, and I’m the COO of Elalu. I went to University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas and got my degree in Fashion Merchandising. Fashion has always been my passion for as long as I could remember. I’ve always had a dream of owning my own clothing line. After college, I moved back to Indonesia. With a little bit of money, my network of friends, and a lot of faith, I started my first company, an Event Organizer company. I learned a lot in running a business and my perseverance kept me strong. After my success of the first company, I then created a printing company. By the time I was 28 years old, I was a female entrepreneur operating two successful companies. I was very happy and loved what I did, but I still often think about the clothing line that I’ve once envisioned. I’ve always known, it would happen someday…I just need to wait for the right opportunity.
Life has a funny way in taking me down my path. Reconnecting with my longtime friend I met in college, Lulu, we decided to pursue our shared dream of owning our own clothing line. This is a beautiful dream come true and destiny at its finest. Long story short, Elalu is born. Sharing ideas and making them into reality of great collections are very fun, refreshing and exhilarating for me. I cannot wait to connect you with our collecting. Elalu is a blending harmony of elegant, glamour, beauty and trendy styles of fashion along with unique pieces that I would love to offer you from my closet to yours.
